# xml unescape

- Unescape special XML characters from a string:

`xml unescape "{{&lt;a1&gt;}}"`

- Unescape special XML characters from stdin:

`echo  "{{&lt;a1&gt;}}" | xml unescape`

- Display help for the `unescape` subcommand:

`xml escape --help`
