  • Generate Portable Object files in system locale from messages.pot:

msginit

  • Define locale to generate from a specific template:

msginit {{[-l|--locale]}} {{locale}} {{[-i|--input]}} {{path/to/messages.pot}}

  • Display help:

msginit {{[-h|--help]}}
