# readlink

- Get the actual file to which the symlink points:
|
|
|
|
`readlink {{path/to/file}}`
|
|
|
|
- Get the absolute path to a file:
|
|
|
|
`readlink {{[-f|--canonicalize]}} {{path/to/file}}`
|
