On connect
- don't set focus
- properly reset terminal state

Use better initialization of default encoding.

08f710c414 Bug 460655 - [terminal] Reparenting a terminal widget leaks resources 
When moving a terminal widget under a new SWT parent we have to take
special care not to leak resources.

b39812c3fd Bug 460303 - Initial output of a local terminal might get wrapped at column 80 
Make sure the layout of the terminal control happens before the terminal
is connected to the remote.
